123 Web Messenger Full Features

The Facebook like messenger is a special addon of 123 Web Messenger, it adds a bottom chat bar to your website with a friend list button using JavaScript code, similar to the Facebook Messenger/Facebook Chat. Then the chat bar will appear to your visitors at the bottom of their browsers, clicking the friends list button, they can one to one chat with the other users of the same website easily in the attached floating window.

Once logged in, a user may get his favorate friends list, showing their online/offline status. The friend list panel and the conversation window are very similar to the most popular IM tools like MSN messenger or gtalk.

The Working Scenario

To add the Facebook like messenger to your website, users database integration will be required. (We offer free integration service to 123 Web Messenger license buyers or yearly hosted messenger users)

Once the users integration is done, a user may log in your website first and then automatically log in the web messenger, or if not logged in your webiste yet, they can also log in on the web messenger with their existing account on your website. Of course they can also chat as guests if that is allowed by the site owner, or register an new account on your website and then log in to one-to-one chat. Easy.

Then they may browse on your website, checking the online users list, or search by certain criteria to get some interesting users, add them to the friend list and send a private message. The receiver will get a popup notification, choose accept or decline.

The private conversations will be arranged as tabs in the middle of the bottom bar, very easy to switch among them.

The bottom bar is very long, you can still add extra web applications to the left side! They may be folded under the name "Applications" and once clicked, the list will be extended. You are suggested to put your key webpage links there to add exposure to visitors.
